When Mimi and Keaton decided to get married, they had one thing in mind - to have their big day on Mimi's father's property. They wanted their wedding to reflect their family values, love for vintage charm, and their Scottish heritage. And boy did they get what they wanted! The wedding was a beautiful mix of elegance, playfulness, and nature, and everyone who attended couldn't stop talking about it!

The wedding ceremony overlooked the bayou at sunset, to say it was picturesque is an understatement. The aisle was lined with organic floral arrangements and at the front was a handmaid wooden arbor adorned with fresh colorful blooms. Bagpipers played as Mimi walked down the aisle with her dad on her arm, creating the perfect moment for the bride and her guests. Directly after the ceremony, the guests were served a shot of whiskey, another nod to their Scottish heritage.

For dinner, the guests were seated at long, wooden tables under a canopy of twinkle lights and served a family style dinner of salad and street tacos, because we're in Texas and Tacos are superior here. Each table was adorned with mismatched China, organic napkins and multi-colored candlesticks with whimsical floral arrangements reminiscent of the classic, Alice and Wonderland. The vibe exuded elevated Alice and Wonderland, one of the words Mimi used to describe her vision when we first met.

As the night progressed, Mimi, Keaton and their friends and family made their way over the pool area where they danced the night away under more strings of lights. At the end of the night, the bride and groom went out with a bang by jumping in the pool!

Overall, the night was absolutely perfect for this sweet couple! They laughed, they danced and they had the perfect whimsical wedding Mimi had dreamt of since she was a little girl.
